How does the Waist Trainer work?

Waist training is a method to decrease the size of your waist with the help of a waist trainer corset. Wearing a waist trainer can quickly and effectively reduce your waist size. The waist trainer gives your torso a beautiful silhouette, while the corset lets you obtain an hourglass figure at the same time.

The heat that is generated while you are wearing the Waist Trainer makes you sweat more and mobilises your fat. The compression of the Waist Trainer causes less appetite, which in turn means that you will eat smaller portions. During the day you will regularly eat smaller portions instead of three big meals. Because of this your metabolism will receive extra stimulation and will be accelerated.


The best results are achieved when you use the Waist Trainer in combination with exercisie and a healthy diet. Wear the Waist Trainer at least 8 hours a day for the best results. If you start wearing the Waist Trainer, it is not wise to start wearing it for 8 hours right away. You can compare wearing the Waist Trainer to starting with exercising. If you start exercising again after an extended period of inactivity, you will of course not be able to exercise for 3 consecutive hours. You will have to build it up. Maybe you will start out with half an hour and increase it to a longer period of time and intensity. You will have to  keep an eye on your body to see what it can endure.


This also applies to Waist Training. If you start waist training it is simply unwise to immediately start with 8 hours a day. On the day that you start using the Waist Trainer, begin with half an hour: just to experience how the Waist Trainer feels. Putting on the Waist Trainer for the first time is already strenuous enough. On the first day, start with two hours. You do not want to overdo waist training! It is best to take two hours, during which you do not need to sit down too often. Wear the Waist Trainer, for example if you are going shopping or have to do the groceries, or whenever you are moving around. The reason for this is that when you sit down your belly extends the furthest forward. The Waist Trainer is at its tightest then and may be uncomfortable on the first day. It is best to get used to wearing it, unless you are a real diehard of course. Try out the waist trainer for a few hours a day during the first few days. Every couple of days, add an hour until you reach the 8 hours. By then, your muscles will be used to the exercise. Determine for yourself how fast you want to go.

There is no right or wrong when you are Waist Training. However, once you have reached the 8 hours, you should continue with 8 hours. You will get the best result if you wear the Waist Trainer consistently. Wearing the waist trainer sporadically and wanting to get a slim waist... that will simply not work in waist trainer land.
