Your body will have to get used to you wearing the Waist Trainer. For this reason it is not wise to start wearing the Waist Trainer for 8 hours, but instead gradually work towards your goal. Start out with wearing the Waist Trainer for 2 hours for a couple of days, then for 4 hours for a couple of days and work up to wearing it longer, depending on how your body responds to the use.
The Waist Trainer has different hooks. Start wearing the Waist Trainer on the first set of hooks. When you've worn the waist shaper often enough and feel comfortable wearing it, you can move on to the second row of hooks. Each body type is different. One person might have more fat around their waist, than another. Hence it is very important to listen carefully to your own body. What works for one person, does not necessarily have to work for you.
Wear the corset on the first set of hooks. As soon as the garment is worn in, you can start using the second set of hooks and wear the corset even tighter. As your waist gets slimmer, the corset will become more comfortable and it will not feel as tight as before. From that point, you can move on to the next size down as part of your waist-reduction regime. Keep in mind dat indivual bodyshapes are different.
When you start wearing the Waist Trainer over a longer period of time, it will become looser. To ensure the longevity of your Waist Shaper so that you can get the most out of its use, it's important to observe the following precautions.
Cleaning: Your Waist Trainer cannot be washed in the washing machine! Always wash your Waist Shaper by hand and in lukewarm water.
Drying: Do not put your Waist Trainer in the dryer either. Place it flat on a drying rack and let the corset dry naturally.
Switching it up: It is best to buy two corsets and to alternate between them. The Waist Trainer is made of natural latex. By giving the Waist Trainer some time to recover, the latex will get a chance to restore and this ensures that your Waist Shaper can be used longer!
